I was attracted to this fountain memorial, wanting to capture the flowing water and the contrasting hard black metalwork of the fountain's horses.  Unlike most of my photographs, where I try to sharply capture everything in view, I felt that the tree in the background (actually "Albert" the Moreton Bay fig tree, which I have also photographed) was distracting, so I have rendered this background in an unsharp way.
